Gamora, portrayed by Zoe Saldana in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a complex and formidable character. She first appears in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).
Adopted by Thanos after he eradicated her people, the Zen-Whoberis, Gamora was trained as a highly skilled assassin. However, she eventually rebelled against Thanos, seeking to prevent him from acquiring the Infinity Stones.
Gamora joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, forming a strong bond with her teammates, especially Peter Quill. Her knowledge of the Infinity Stones and Thanos's plans made her a crucial ally in the fight against him. In Infinity War, she is tragically sacrificed by Thanos to obtain the Soul Stone.
